Balance immediately before restriction
Reconstruct an address's token balance at the exact restriction position, using the previous block's state and any prior transfers within the same block. Record block, transaction and log positions.
Measuring what a stablecoin restriction reaches, at the exact transaction.
A blacklist event is observable on-chain, but “how much was frozen” depends on the token contract, the address, and the measurement time. RWAI reconstructs intervention events from public Ethereum data to distinguish the balance immediately before a restriction, funds received or moved afterwards, and a clearly dated later snapshot. Each quantitative claim is anchored to verifiable block and transaction evidence.
The live dashboard shows indexed stablecoin transfer activity, not live issuer-intervention detection or a published case-study evidence feed.
Reconstruct an address's token balance at the exact restriction position, using the previous block's state and any prior transfers within the same block. Record block, transaction and log positions.
Separate subsequent inbound and outbound movements, by token and address, and report a dated balance snapshot rather than treating an initial balance as a permanent total.
Identify observable transfers between distinct restriction transactions without assuming what an issuer knew, approved, or could have prevented at those moments.
Distinguish mechanisms that prevent blacklisted senders from transferring from those that also restrict recipients. Describe supported control effects separately from recovery or return of funds.
A bounded October 2026 USDT/USDC case has been reconciled at token-unit precision. Selected underlying transaction receipts were cross-checked against a separate Ethereum RPC provider. The study and underlying reproducibility records remain in controlled technical review; the full case study is not yet released publicly.
Historical balance state has not been fully re-verified against an independent archive provider. No third-party professional assurance or issuer endorsement is claimed.
For supervisors developing stablecoin disclosure requirements, and for issuers or exchanges assessing operational controls, RWAI proposes reporting restriction-time balances, post-restriction movements, event ordering, and contract-specific limitations as distinct measurements.
The methodology concerns observable Ethereum activity, not the identity, location or intentions of wallet users.
We welcome technical comments on the methodology and enquiries concerning supervisory research, issuer control measurement and evidence reproducibility.
